The door cannot be opened without flipping the windbell lock up and out of the way of the door. Even if the pet owner forgets to slide the latch of the push button lock over to re-lock it the bird still cannot get out of the cage because it is impossible for the bird to flip up the windbell lock while pushing the front door open and climbing out of the cage. Amaxing cage
I recieved the cage in a very timely manner. I love petco so I had no doubt that it wouldnt be. I also opened the box and the perch on the top was broken and the drawer was bent. I took pictures and emailed prevue. Within a week and a half I had parts at my doorstep. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone!!! Its an amazing cage, very sturdy and easy to assemble!

A good deal
This cage is very nice for the money. Looks more expensive than it is. Easy to put together. Looks so good in my home. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Awful Packaging
While its probably a great cage from what I can tell, the box it was delivered in was paper thin. I could poke my finger through it! I received it with a bent leg, bent bars, dented trays, really scratched paint, and the latch to close the cage was snapped off. While it comes with repair paint, the bottle was open and dried up. I am waiting on a replacement at the moment. I hope it arrives in...

Good Purchase for the Price
We bought three of these cages. We put one together so far, with some difficulty due to some of the factory-machined holes not lining up, pieces were bent and had to be re-shaped with pliers, and two screws to hold the piece for the play gym are missing. Waiting to see what assembly of the other two cages holds for us!! Maybe we'll find extra screws in one of those boxes!!
