Aviansun 5.0 UVB lights
just received the Zoo Med Aviansun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Bulbs I order 2 of them for my 2 greys, They are sure bright. Directions say that while they are new they have a "burn in periold" you should place them 18-20" above your birds head. Ok i will do that... Pricey but unavoidable
Pretty expensive for a "light bulb". First one lasted about a month before the lamp, which isn't weighted heavily enough, tipped over and the bulb broke. Before long I'll have to take my birds outside for sunlight.

I bought the Zoo Med AvianSun Deluxe Floor Lamp and was searching for the bulb because I couldn't find it here at first. I am happy I checked a bit more because this is almost half the price of another online pet chain store so such a great value here!
