I am disappointed with this particular product (which was so surprising to me because I have had nothing but great experiences with all of my Vitacost.com orders). The first thing I noticed was the difference in the plastic vials. They do not match the ones I have used for years (which I purchased directly from a veterinarian's office). Second, one of the vials had come apart, so I actually only ended up with 5 vials instead of 6. Finally, when I did open the product, one of the full vials smelled very differently than I know the product's usual odor to be. I should have sent this product back for a refund, but as I needed to use it right away...I took my chances. I will not be reordering this product from this site again.

When I thought all hope was lost..

I can't believe it actually worked.. every morning i would wake up to at least 10-30 yellow-white eggs on the bed from where Kitty sleeps. I've tried EVERYTHNG; from sprays to powders to shampoos, and carpet pellets to harsh chemicals to foggers..they just wont go away! & it only made her lose hair. Now i wake up with nothing on the bed!!! yay! Too bad i hadn't found it earlier, could have saved...

Frontline

It kills fleas better than anything that I have used on my cats.

Wouldn't trust anything else

Without question, Frontline is the safest way to get rid of fleas, and I wouldn't trust anything else. No flea collars or powders! I've done my research, and Frontline is the best. It worked for my cat (8 yrs old, 13 pounds) with no harmful side effects. Without question, Frontline is the safest way to get rid of fleas, and I wouldn't trust anything else. No flea collars or powders! I've done my research, and Frontline is the best. It worked for my cat (8 yrs old, 13 pounds) with no harmful side effects. I was only able to see one flea on my cat, so I knew I didn't have a very large problem, however I also knew that there is no such thing as "just one flea". I'm sure there were more hiding on her somewhere. My husband held my cat still while I applied the pipet to her skin. Make sure it is absorbed by the cat's skin and not fur. Inevitably some Frontline will soak into her fur, but make sure the bulk of the pipet is on her skin. Also, and I say this with much consternation, please be sure to be VIGILANT and stay with your cat for the next 12 hrs if possible. Frontline says if you put it between her shoulders blades, a cat can't reach it, but that's NOT true. Cats are contortionists and they also have the ability to lick their paw, wipe it behind their head and repeat....my cat quickly found out how to do this and she got some Frontline into her mouth. Although she was fine, I don't like the thought of chemicals getting into her mouth. If you apply Frontline at the end of the day, then you can stay with your cat on the couch until evening and have her fall asleep near you. 24 hrs after Frontline is applied, vacuum vacuum vacuum and do laundry if you want to nail the problem completely.
